Psych is an American dramedy television series created by Steve Franks. The show is starring James Roday as Shawn Spencer, who as a child, he developed a remarkable talent to notice small details, under the direction of his cop father Henry (Corbin Bernsen). But growing up it was difficult to get a job, and spends most of his time with his ability to give the police anonymous. However, the tips are so good that some police officers suspected of being involved with the same offense. To clear his name Shawn finally settles on a career that purports to be a psychic. No one really believes him, but it remains as useful to the police that keep on calling in those cases can not solve. Shawn soon brings his childhood friend Gus (Dulé Hill) in his scheme, and its jokes manage to solve all the cases are presented.
Shawn comes across a corpse in the house the British consulate while working a case to recover a stolen item "Star Wars" collector. In order to call the police on the case, said Shawn had a vision of death and puts his reputation as a psychic on the line.
The sixth season of Psych, which consists of 16 episodes, will premiere on U.S. network in the United States on October 12, 2011. James Roday, Dule Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Corbin Bernsen and Kirsten Nelson are all expected to reprise their roles as the main characters. The season may contain a second episode of Twin Peaks-inspired fifth season episode "Dual Spires" (5.12), confirmed with the vampire, baseball, Indiana Jones, and episodes themed track. A musical episode is expected to air during the sixth season, has confirmed to be on hold until the seventh season premiere. Production for the season began in late March 2011. If good things come to those who wait, fans of USA "Psych" probably can expect a stellar season for the sixth longest running show on the network. Skip the traditional summer slot for a premiere in autumn 2011, the gap between seasons 5 and 6 of "Psych" marks the longest since the show debuted in 2006.
